Its is a monocoque main frame shaped to obtained the best rigidity and the minimum weight, the thickness of each tube has been reduced and each tube has lateral ridges that stiffen its structure. The  ridges are then connected to each other in the head tube, BB shell and seat post to make a unique structure. BASSO has a long history in the building of titanium frames. The first Basso titanium model is dated back to the 1989. The new frame is updated with the new technical developments of this material: oversized head tube for better front rigidity, elliptic shaped down tube for better rigidity on the BB shell, curved rear seat stays for maximum comfort with correct lateral stiffness.
